Role Purpose:
The role is responsible for managing multiple projects concurrently, with accountability for overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion within the Caley Ocean Systems business unit. The position ensures that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards, while maintaining alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals. In addition, the role will work closely with the Caley sales team to support bid submissions and contribute to securing future work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and execution of multiple projects simultaneously.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Facilitate the definition and develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical compliance with clients and certification bodies.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
- Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders and report on a regular basis
- Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Support the sales team with new bid work as and when required, contributing to the preparation of proposals and future project opportunities.
