Caley Grow Their Team By 30% Following a Record-Breaking Year

Following a series of large contract awards, Glasgow-based Caley Ocean Systems have grown their team by more than 30% in what has been a record-breaking year.

In summer last year, Caley were acquired by Pryme Group and have since gone on to secure a second contract with their biggest customer to date, worth over £25million. Over the past 6 months Caley have opened a dedicated project office and have grown their team by 30% to meet the requirements of the project.

The recruitment is companywide and has involved growing the following teams; design engineering, project management, quality engineering, document control, cost control, HSE and workshop integration management.

Alongside this new and exciting project, Caley are underway with a major project in offshore renewables delivering and deploying their proprietary offshore wind turbine foundation technology which is used to secure wind turbines to their foundations, the project includes securing over 60 offshore wind turbines for a large, new offshore wind farm in European waters.

Caley’s project successes over the past decade have seen their revenue grow exponentially; making 2021 their best year on record, with a threefold increase in revenue compared to 2020 alone.
