Caley Ocean Systems Bolster US Business Plan with Key Appointment

Caley Ocean Systems, a Pryme Group company, has appointed a new US-based Service Manager to support ambitious growth plans in the growing US defence sector.

With over 10 years of experience in projects and service, Juan Argueta has developed a strong track record of delivering successful outcomes for customers and brings five years of expertise in contract and project management specifically for government entities in both the US and Mexico. This experience will be invaluable to Caley Ocean Systems who have amassed a strong customer base in the US and with a growing requirement for on the ground in-service support, now is the correct time to recruit a permanent member of staff to better support the customer base.

The appointment comes following the announcement of Caley Ocean Systems’ teaming agreement with US-based Fairbanks Morse Defense, a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management (Arcline), to pursue launch & recovery, and other naval mechanical handling opportunities. This collaboration expands both parties’ capabilities to provide best-in-class marine technologies while strengthening Caley Ocean Systems’ presence in the US.

“I am thrilled to be joining Caley, a company known for its fast-paced environment and strong commitment to customer service.” said Juan, “Caley’s service division has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, and I am excited to contribute to its expansion in the US. With my experience and dedication, I am eager to continue driving the growth of Caley’s services and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction in this exciting new venture. Through these efforts, I aim to contribute to the overall success and growth of Caley and Pryme Group in the US market.”

Douglas Morrison, Managing Director – Services, Pryme Group comments, “We are delighted to have appointed Juan to the team, together with our UK-based Service Director, Iain Trotter, and the wider service team, Juan will focus on expanding our presence in the US market, both within government entities and private organisations.
